UK english tv channels

Could someone please advise the cheapest option to obtain some uk tv channels. I have an apartment locally which I visit about four times a year so only need some basic channels . As to watch sport I prefer to watch whilst having a beer and a meal. Someone metioned to me about an old skybox which I brought over last time on holiday, but it seems I now need a dish and someone to set it up for me. Is this the cheapest option and could anyone inform me of someone who sells used dishes and also sets everything up for me. Many Thanks Peter

The size of dish depends where you live.

I think the cheapest option is to buy a freeview box, around 50 euros.

Keep an eye out in the freebie papers for people selling dishes - Chris even with a freeview box harlow will still need a dish. If you cant buy one second hand - have you got a 'very nice' neighbour who lives close and has a dish - its always possible to run a cable from their dish - obviously with their agreement. Otherwise its a case of ringing round the local satellite companies to see who can do the best deal for you.

Alternatively, check out Telitec they are advertising english tv via your computer and tv - not sure of cost though.
